Green Flor, as a renowned producer of green roofs and roll-out lawns, offers its customers many types of practical solutions.

The GREEN FLOR system is based on three basic layers, necessary for the proper functioning of a green roof. These include:

  • drainage and filtration as well as retention and drainage layer in which the following are used: cavity drainage, loop drainage, and drainage and filtration geotextile, hygroscopic mineral wool, storage and drainage geotextiles,
  • vegetation layer with: extensive mineral substrate,
  • the plant layer, which consists of an extensive mat covered with previously grown vegetation.

Below we present examples of layer configurations of green roof systems.

GF Heavy

Used on flat roofs with a solid structure. The heaviest solution available.

The vegetation layer in the form of a mineral substrate with a negligible share of the organic part.

GF Hybrid

Used on flat roofs and roofs with a slight inclination.

The vegetation layer in the form of hygroscopic rockwool and mineral substrate. The combination of two types of substrate provides the most favourable conditions for plant development.

GF Light

Used both on flat and sloping roofs up to 45°. The advantage of the system is lower costs of transport, unloading and installation of wool compared to the substrate.

The vegetation layer in the form of hygroscopic rockwool with a water storage capacity of 18 l/m2. One or two layers can be used. It is suitable for stacking and creating living conditions for plants with a developed root system.

GF Super Light

The lightest system solution. Used on lightweight roofs where the load-bearing capacity is low, approx. 35-45 kg/m2.

The vegetation layer is a storage geotextile with a grammage of 1,000 g/m2. The system provides minimum living conditions for plants. Several layers of geotextile can be used to increase the water buffer and provide better conditions for sedum growth.
